QWAK,We learn BEST from our MISTAKES but IF not held accountable for them, (insolated,insured ,protected from conciquences) then they are NOT recognised AS MISTAKES and are repeated ,usualy at an escalating size and speed. So basicly the LESS you "GET AWAY WITH" the more you learn CORRECT THINKING and make more PROGRESS as a person.:albertein

It also occured to ME that realy HARD and BAD times also have a positive aspect to them in lots of ways, one being that it sets off a SPARK in peoples minds and FORCES them to become MORE CREATIVE and search for and find new ways TO SURVIVE rather than just being CONTENTED COWS!:Zzzz:

Things just ARE what they ARE at any given TIME, it is HOW we PERCIEVE them that DEFINES them for us and how we CHOSE to DEAL with what we percieve that DEFINES each of US as unique indiviguals!:thinkey:

Being by nature a "trust no one" person I tend to go the other direction.

Nothing is rarely what it seems on the surface.
I look at what the other guy(s) are perceiving and what they pre define my reaction is going to be.
I then define a quick dozen scenarios of gain/loss for myself short and long term.
If you read people closely they either want something,or are out to screw you to the max so they can benefit somehow.
My perception or logic then tells me no gain...no deal.
In rare cases the best option is long term gain...short term loss.
That presents problems when you are dealing with people who develop acute memory loss when it's time to repay a favor.
I define myself as smart enough to be a professional confidence man...so it takes some pretty rapid foot shuffling to fool me at something I'm good at.
Mind games...my specialty.

Your point is well taken Duck...I perceive you to be sincere and honest.

QWAK,Mr.Rat,You speak words of WISDOME and full of LIFE EXPERIENCE. I injoy your posts and agree with most of what you say and deal with it my own way, that mostly being NOT asking for or expecting any help and trying NOT to be fooled by ignorent people I gave too much CREDIT to, as being INTELIGENT and HONERABLE! (they almost NEVER ARE! LOL)

You seem a little "Wound too tight" but then agen like we said in NAM "Keep your S**T wired TIGHT!" it keeps you ALIVE!

It takes a lot of life energy to maintain that level of vigalence. I prefere to be less on edge and more on INVISABILITY and projected immage that is less in their face dangerous or thretining.

The BEER CAN siding says "Nothing here worth steeling" , IF they come CLOCER ,the SIGN saying "If you are THINKING of ROBING this place -- THINK AGEN!" and the arrow pointing at the dummey HAND GRENADES in the window, TOTALY CONVINCES THEM! There are an INFINATE number of ways (like RAYS of light) to the CENTER of a problem but ALL have one thing in common ----- they MUST be pointed "at" the CENTER, to get THERE! :shakehand :coolbeer:
